I am a licensed therapist with a wide range of experience. I have worked with children and adolescents in the fields of education and counseling for over 20 years. I work with individuals, families and couples and employ a very interactive approach. I am well trained in Crisis Intervention and also work with individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, and abuse issues. I also give workshops for parents, educators, and mental health professionals in the area of communication, child and adolescent development, eating disorders and sexuality. In addition I work with couples and utilize a communications approach.
I specialize in the treatment of Eating Disorders and run eating disorder recovery groups. I believe in a multidisciplinary approach to treatment of eating disorders and like to work with a client’s medical doctor and nutritionist in order to optimize successful recovery.
